Let’s try a few things to identify the issue:

  1. Ensure that you’re using only the approved power cord that comes with your Rotimatic™. Don’t use any extension cord.

  2. Check if the power cord is securely plugged into your Rotimatic™.

  3. Verify that the voltage indicated on the rating plate on the back of the unit corresponds with your electrical power source.

  4. Check if the power point switch at the power socket is on (if your power socket has a switch).

  5. If you are using the US model, please use only the GFCI cord provided. Unplug it from the power socket, then plug in again and press the Reset button once.

  6. Wait for at least 5 seconds. That’s because it takes at least 5 seconds for the electric current to flow through to RotimaticTM.

  7. Gently tap the Power button of your Rotimatic™, using the full surface of your fingertip. Pressing the buttons hard won’t help, because the buttons are designed with capacitive touch sensing, which means they respond to gentle touch with a large contact surface.

Tip: Look inside the Rotimatic™ from the left to check if there’s a small red light. This indicates that Rotimatic™ is receiving power. If the light is on, wait till you hear a soft beeping sound (the Rotimatic™ heartbeat!) before you tap the Power button. If there’s no red light, there might be a problem with your power supply.

If you’re still not able to power on your Rotimatic™, please contact our Live Chat support via the Rotimatic™ mobile app.
